D-mannose is a naturally occurring sugar that’s found in pineapple, blueberries, and other fruits.
Your body is unable to metabolize D-Mannose like other sugars, so it is quickly expelled and stored in the urine. The presence of D-Mannose in urine is a key reason that it is so effective at fighting E. coli bacterial growth in your urinary tract.
