TrueMed is a trusted payment tool that allows brands like AZO® to accept HSA/FSA funds. Think of them as Paypal for your HSA/FSA card.

Can you use HSA/FSA on all AZO® products?

The short answer is yes. Some AZO® products are automatically eligible for HSA/FSA, but others require a Letter of Medical Necessity.

Typically, you would have to get a Letter of Medical Necessity from your doctor, which could lead to additional costs and long wait times.

Our partnership with TrueMed takes the hassle off of you in a few ways:

  2. TrueMed will handle all the paperwork.
  3. There’s no additional cost to you to use this service - we absorb the cost for you!

How does it work?

The steps are slightly different based on whether the product requires a Letter of Medical Necessity and whether you’re purchasing a one-time order or subscription. Here’s a step-by-step guide for each.

HSA/FSA-eligible products that do not require a Letter of Medical Necessity

  1. Add your favorite product to your cart. Make sure you choose “One-time purchase”.
  2. At checkout, choose “Credit card” and enter your HSA/FSA card information.
  3. That’s it! You’ll receive an order confirmation email in your inbox.

*For subscription orders, make sure your HSA/FSA account has enough funds for recurring orders. If your HSA/FSA runs out of funds, your card may be declined and delay your orders.

Products that require a Letter of Medical Necessity

For one-time orders

  1. Add your favorite product to your cart. Make sure you choose “One-time purchase”.
  2. At checkout, choose “TrueMed - Pay with HSA/FSA”.
  3. Enter your HSA/FSA card information.
  4. Take the 1-minute survey to determine your eligibility.
  5. Once you’re approved, you will receive a confirmation email with your order details.

For subscription orders

  1. Add your favorite product to your cart. Make sure you choose “Subscribe & Save 10%”.
  2. At checkout, pay with your regular credit or debit card.
  3. After you complete your purchase, we’ll send you a confirmation email with a survey.
  4. Take the 1-minute survey to determine your eligibility.
  5. Within a few days, a TrueMed Concierge will contact you.
  6. Once you’re approved, TrueMed will reimburse you via your HSA/FSA provider.
